FRED TURNER / WINDMILL MUSEUM:

Loeriesfontein, a neighbouring town only 65km from Nieuwoudtville, hoasts a unique Windmill museum of which there are only two in the world, the other being in the U.S.A. There is also an interesting museum in the old Baptist Church. This quaint little town is the capital of Bushmanland the greatest undiscovered secret of South Africa.

GANNABOS (QUIVER TREE FOREST):

The largest and the most southerly colony of Aloe dichotoma ... one of South Africa's giant aloes, occurs approximately 25km from Nieuwoudtville just of the tarred road to Loeriesfontein.
